What about Data Privacy?

  • The Trigger POS software is installed locally on each computer, works offline and doesn’t extract any data to any external sources or have any kind of web-interface, so data privacy is ensured.
  • The Smartphone app doesn’t have any web interface and all the information stays with the patient or the user itself, so data privacy is ensured.

Do we have to make any changes in our existing POS software to use Trigger application?

  • No, this software doesn’t need any modifications in your current POS software and works independently without interfering in any of your existing systems.

Can we add more features?

  • Additional features can be added based on your requirements. Please contact us to discuss your additional requirements.

Does the software need continuous maintenance for database management?

  • No, you can simply update the medicine database by excel import function or using a barcode scanner. Also you can chose not to import any medicine names and manually enter the medicine names.

Do pharmacists have to spend a lot of time to input the data?

  • No, this software is very user-friendly and designed to ensure that pharmacists do not spend any extra time and most of the inputs are automated through a normal barcode scanner to ensure the success and usage of the software. Overall the data input and processing would be even faster than the verbal explanation to your patients. Also check our demo tutorial video.

What are the ways of entering data into the system?

  • You can enter the data either by manual input which also has auto-fill option to speed up the entry or by scanning the medicine’s bar code. Also frequency of medicines can be filled easily through available barcodes in the software. (Check on the Tab section and also our demo tutorial video)

Is there a possibility to track success and KPIs or generate any reports?

  • Yes, there are basic reports available under Reports Tab.
  • We can discuss if there are any additional requirements.

What about software upgrades?

  • As and when we will have any software upgrades, you will be notified on your given contact details. You would also be able to check this on our website and facebook page.

Is the mobile app paid?

  • No the mobile app for patients is completely free of charge.

How many medicines can be added at once?

  • Maximum of 15 medicines can be added in each prescription.

Will a copy of the prescription be saved in my computer?

  • Yes. You can access the same in your “C:/prescription reminder” folder.

Will the data of my customers/patients be safe?

  • Unlike other applications, Trigger does not store the data in any server because we respect users’ privacy.

Does Trigger require internet connectivity?

  • No, our system works completely offline.

  • No the mobile app for patients is completely free of charge.

How do I change the alert timings on the app?

  • Just tap on the medicine name and you will find the set times which can be easily edited and will update the new timing on your device calendar. Please also see our demo tutorial video.

Can we save prescriptions/set reminders without QR codes?

  • Yes , there is an option for manual input. Also, you can get the QR code from the pharmacies and doctors enrolled in this program. You can also generate your own QR code through our website.

Can the dosage frequency be changed manually?

  • No, you can only change the timing of the reminders but not the frequency because it should be controlled as per the doctor’s instructions.

Can we enter and save multiple prescriptions?

  • Yes, you can add as many prescriptions as u need for you and for your family members. Please also see our demo tutorial video.

Can the medicine refill renewal date be set manually or changed?

  • Yes, you can edit the renewal date of a medicine under the more option of that particular medicine. Please also see our demo tutorial video.
  • Please also ask your pharmacy to check tick on refill reminder option and you would automatically be enrolled on email reminder refill program.

My QR code does not get scanned easily.

  • You need to keep some distance between your device and the QR code for easy scanning.
  • Please ensure the QR code print is clear and there is enough light available for scanning.
